My Services
I view the process of therapy as an unfolding into who you truly want to be. It is a creative experience that utilizes impactful methods so that together we can create a new path for you.

What approaches do I use in therapy?
A significant variable for many clients in reaching their goals is connecting with an effective therapist. I can provide you the knowledge, support, tools, and skills to help you in effective ways. My approach utilizes evidence-based therapy which gives individuals understanding, techniques and skills to overcome challenges. These are applied in daily life giving you strategies you can use to reduce or even eliminate symptoms and increase your vitality.

How will this help your life?
Collaboratively, we will enable you to find the balance necessary to sustain connection to your relationships with yourself and with others regardless of the external circumstance of life. You will also experience increased emotional and cognitive understanding and regulation. As a result you will feel stronger, have clarity, and live in line with what you truly value.
What to expect?
To begin the process, please fill out the form below or call 203-312-7632 to
schedule a free 15 minute consultation. After determining if we are a good fit to reach your goals, we will schedule an initial intake session. We will then set regular times to meet either in person or via Telehealth.

What is the process?
We will first understand the unfulfilled wants and needs that have led you to seek support. We will then develop a strategy and together design a path forward with clear action items. Next, I will teach you the skills and techniques geared toward obtaining your desired changes. You will then practice these skills in your daily life to achieve measurable, replicable outcomes. You will also experience therapeutic processes in session which will help you to heal your past and reconnect with your most authentic self.

My Story
I am a therapist providing mental health services in New York and Connecticut. I’ve always been interested in how people learn, heal and transform, create and evolve, both individually and on a macro level. Highly moved by Jonathan Kozol’s work, my inquiry initially led me to an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Boston University. After teaching in both Boston and Bedford Stuyvesant, I eventually pursued a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Sarah Lawrence College as well as a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. I have worked in residential, outpatient, university and private practice settings. My experience has included helping children and families heal through the foster care and adoption services, working with medical students to improve academic outcomes, manage stress, and decrease anxiety, assisting couples to improve their marriage or navigate divorce, and helping individuals heal from trauma, depression, anxiety and OCD.

My passion is helping others in their journey of healing and self-development. My clinical skills, interests and experience have a wide scope ranging from traditional models to more alternative therapies such as play and expressive therapies, therapeutic yoga, equine assisted therapy, and other somatic modalities/body centered practices.

This had led me to a very comprehensive, collaborative, embodied approach to healing, health, and wellness on the physical, mental, and spiritual planes. In addition, I also have experience in program development and implementation.
